Here’s a recipe for crispy chicken wings and seasoned fries, with instructions for baking, frying, or air-frying — so you can choose what works best for you. This version is full of flavor, easy to follow, and great for game day or a comfort meal at home.

🍗 Crispy Chicken Wings Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Wings:

  • 2 lbs (about 1 kg) chicken wings (split at joints, tips removed)

  • 1 tbsp baking powder (NOT baking soda)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Optional: ½ tsp cayenne pepper or chili flakes for heat

For the Sauce (optional):

  • ¼ cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar (for a sticky glaze)

Instructions:

1. Dry the Wings:

  • Pat wings very dry with paper towels. Moisture = soggy skin.

2. Coat with Dry Rub:

  • In a large bowl, toss wings with baking powder, salt, and spices until evenly coated.

3. Choose a Cooking Method:

🔥 Option A: Oven-Baked (Healthier, still crispy)

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  • Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. Spray rack with oil.

  • Place wings skin-side up in a single layer on the rack.

  • Bake for 20 minutes, flip, and bake another 20–25 minutes until golden and crispy.

  • For extra crispiness, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end.

🛢️ Option B: Deep-Fried

  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).

  • Fry wings in batches (don’t overcrowd) for 8–10 minutes, until golden and cooked through.

  • Drain on paper towels.

🌬️ Option C: Air-Fryer

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

  • Air-fry wings in a single layer for 10 minutes, flip, then cook another 10 minutes.

  • Add 2–3 more minutes if needed for crispier skin.

4. Toss in Sauce (Optional):

  • In a small saucepan, melt butter with hot sauce and honey. Stir until smooth.

  • Toss cooked wings in the sauce right before serving.

🍟 Seasoned Fries Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 large russet potatoes (or use frozen fries for convenience)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Optional: fresh parsley or parmesan for garnish

Instructions:

1. Prep Potatoes:

  • Peel (optional) and cut potatoes into fries or wedges.

  • Soak in cold water for 30–60 minutes to remove starch.

  • Drain and pat completely dry.

2. Season:

  • Toss fries in a bowl with oil and seasonings.

🧑‍🍳 Cooking Options:

A. Oven-Baked:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  • Spread fries on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer.

  • Bake for 20 minutes, flip, and bake another 15–20 minutes until crisp and golden.

B. Air Fryer:

  • Preheat to 400°F (200°C).

  • Air-fry in batches for 15–18 minutes, shaking halfway.

C. Deep Fry:

  • Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).

  • Fry in batches for 4–5 minutes, drain on paper towels.

  • Optional: Fry twice for extra crispiness (first at 325°F, then again at 375°F).

✅ Final Tips:

  • Serve wings and fries with ranch, blue cheese, or your favorite dip.

  • Garnish with chopped parsley, scallions, or grated parmesan if desired.

  • For extra flavor, sprinkle fries with vinegar powder or truffle salt.
