The Easiest Peach Cobbler Recipe

Posted on July 11, 2025

Here’s a super easy and delicious peach cobbler recipe that anyone can make—minimal ingredients and fuss!

The Easiest Peach Cobbler Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (about 15 oz) of sliced peaches in syrup (or about 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced)

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup sugar (split 3/4 cup and 1/4 cup)

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • Optional: cinnamon or nutmeg for sprinkling

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven: to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Melt butter: Place the butter in a 9×13 inch baking dish and put it in the oven while it’s preheating so the butter can melt.

  3. Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  4. Add milk: Pour the milk into the dry ingredients and stir until smooth.

  5. Pour batter: Take the baking dish out of the oven once butter is melted, and pour the batter over the melted butter. Don’t stir!

  6. Add peaches: Spoon the peaches and their syrup evenly over the batter. Again, do not stir.

  7. Sprinkle sugar: Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup sugar over the top. Optionally, sprinkle cinnamon or nutmeg.

  8. Bake: Bake for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

  9. Serve warm: Serve with ice cream or whipped cream if you like!

Tip: The batter will rise around the peaches, creating a cobbler with a crisp crust and soft fruit inside. Easy and yummy!
