🍓 Strawberry Honeybun Cake Recipe
Ingredients
For the Cake:

1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)

4 large eggs

1 cup sour cream

¾ cup vegetable oil

½ cup brown sugar

1 tbsp ground cinnamon

¾ cup strawberry jam or preserves
For the Glaze:

2 cups powdered sugar

3–4 tbsp milk
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.

Make the batter:
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, sour cream, and oil. Mix until smooth (about 2 minutes on medium speed). -
Mix cinnamon swirl:
In a small bowl, stir together the brown sugar and cinnamon. -
Assemble the cake:

Pour half the batter into the prepared pan.

Spoon dollops of strawberry jam evenly over the batter and gently swirl with a knife.

Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over this layer.

Pour the remaining batter on top and spread evenly.

Bake:
Bake for 40–45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. -
Make the glaze:
While the cake is baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. -
Glaze the cake:
Let the cake cool for about 10 minutes, then pour the glaze over the warm cake. Allow it to soak in slightly. -
Cool and serve:
Let it cool completely before slicing for neat pieces—or serve warm for a gooey treat.
