  2. Prepare sauce: In a small bowl, mix all sauce ingredients. Set aside.

  3. Heat the wok/skillet: Add 1 tbsp of oil over high heat. Once hot, add marinated beef. Sear for 1–2 minutes until browned but not fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

  4. Stir-fry vegetables: Add remaining 1 tbsp oil, then add garlic, ginger, and onion. Stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add bell peppers and broccoli. Cook for another 1–2 minutes.

  5. Combine and finish: Return beef to the pan. Add the sauce. Stir well to coat everything. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until sauce thickens and beef is cooked through.

  6. Serve: Garnish with green onions. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.

🍚 Tips

  • For extra tenderness, slice beef very thinly and against the grain.

  • Freeze the beef for 15–20 minutes beforehand to make slicing easier.

  • Add mushrooms, snap peas, or carrots for variety.
