Steak Bites with Garlic Butter

Here’s a quick and delicious recipe for Steak Bites with Garlic Butter — a perfect appetizer or main dish that’s ready in under 20 minutes!


🥩 Steak Bites with Garlic Butter

Ingredients (serves 2–4):

  • 1 lb (450 g) sirloin steak (or ribeye, New York strip), cut into 1-inch cubes

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)


Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Steak:

    • Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels (helps sear properly).

    • Season generously with salt and pepper.

  2. Sear the Steak:

    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet (preferably cast iron) over high heat until shimmering.

    • Add steak cubes in a single layer. Sear undisturbed for about 1–2 minutes on each side until browned and just cooked through.

    • Remove steak from pan and set aside.

  3. Make Garlic Butter:

    • Lower heat to medium.

    • Add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add garlic and cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute, until fragrant (don’t let it brown).

    • Optional: add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.

  4. Combine & Finish:

    • Return steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat in garlic butter.

    • Cook for an additional 30 seconds if needed, just to warm through.

  5. Serve:

    • Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot!


Tips:

  • Don’t overcrowd the pan when searing — cook in batches if necessary.

  • Serve with crusty bread, mashed potatoes, or over rice for a full meal.
