📝 Ingredients:

1 lb (450g) smoked sausage, sliced into rounds

2 lbs (900g) potatoes, peeled and diced (russet or Yukon gold)

1 medium onion, chopped

1–2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup heavy cream or whole milk

2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
-
1 tsp paprika
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
½ tsp salt (to taste)

½ tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning

Optional: chopped parsley or green onions for garnish

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
