Here’s a tasty and easy Salted Caramel Cracker Bites recipe for you! These little treats combine salty crackers, gooey caramel, and a sprinkle of sea salt for the perfect sweet-salty snack.


Salted Caramel Cracker Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 sleeve of square buttery crackers (like Ritz or similar) — about 40 crackers

  • 1 cup caramel bits or soft caramel candies, unwrapped

  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream or milk

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or milk chocolate, if you prefer)

  • Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the baking sheet
    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

  2. Arrange the crackers
    Lay the crackers flat in a single layer on the baking sheet.

  3. Add caramel
    Place about 1 caramel bit or a small piece of soft caramel candy on each cracker.

  4. Melt caramel
    Heat the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-7 minutes, or until the caramel is soft and slightly melted.

  5. Cool slightly
    Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let it cool for about 3-5 minutes, just until caramel firms up a bit but is still soft.

  6. Melt chocolate
    While caramel is cooling, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until smooth. Alternatively, melt using a double boiler.

  7. Top crackers with chocolate
    Spoon or pipe melted chocolate over each caramel-topped cracker.

  8. Add sea salt
    Sprinkle a tiny pinch of flaky sea salt over the chocolate on each bite.

  9. Set and chill
    Place the baking sheet in the fridge for about 20-30 minutes until the chocolate hardens.

  10. Serve and enjoy!
    Once set, transfer to a serving plate or store in an airtight container.
