Salt and Vinegar Energy Cleanse

Posted on May 28, 2025

Sure! Here’s a simple natural salt and vinegar remedy for cleansing room energy you can try. Salt and vinegar are both traditionally used for purification and clearing negative energy.

Salt and Vinegar Energy Cleanse

What You Need:

  • 1 small bowl or jar

  • Sea salt or Himalayan pink salt (about 2-3 tablespoons)

  • White distilled vinegar (about 1/2 cup)

  • Optional: a few drops of essential oil like lavender or eucalyptus for added cleansing and freshness

Steps:

  1. Combine Ingredients: In your bowl or jar, pour in the salt. Then slowly add the vinegar until the salt is saturated but not completely dissolved.

  2. Place in Room: Put the bowl or jar in the corner of the room you want to cleanse. The salt will absorb negative energy, and the vinegar will help break down any stagnant vibes.

  3. Leave for 24-48 Hours: Let it sit quietly, undisturbed, for at least one full day (24 hours). If you want a deeper cleanse, leave it for up to two days.

  4. Dispose Mindfully: After the time is up, dispose of the mixture by pouring it outside your home or down the drain while visualizing the negative energy being washed away.

  5. Optional Smudge or Air Out: Follow up by opening windows to let fresh air circulate or do a smudging with sage, palo santo, or incense.

Why It Works:

  • Salt is a natural purifier and has been used across many cultures to absorb negative energy and cleanse spaces.

  • Vinegar is acidic and helps to break down and neutralize unwanted energetic “buildup.”

  • The combination creates a natural energetic “cleanser” without chemicals.
