Ingredients
For the cookie dough:

Instructions
1. Preheat and prep:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. Make cookie dough:
In a large bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until combined.
3. Shape the cookies:
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets. Use your thumb or the back of a spoon to make an indentation in the center of each ball.
