Here’s a classic Peanut Butter Cookies recipe—simple, delicious, and quick to make!


Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda (optional for a slightly lighter texture)

  • Pinch of salt (if using unsalted peanut butter)


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Mix ingredients in a bowl:

    • Combine peanut butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla (if using). Stir until smooth and fully combined.

    • Add baking soda and salt if using. Mix well.

  3. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place on the baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart.

  4. Flatten with a fork: Use a fork to press a criss-cross pattern on each cookie.

  5. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden. Centers may look soft but will firm up as they cool.

  6. Cool on pan for 2–3 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.


Tips:

  • For chewier cookies, underbake slightly.

  • Add chocolate chips or chopped peanuts for a fun twist.
