Here’s a classic Orange Dreamsicle Salad recipe — a nostalgic, creamy dessert that’s super easy to whip up. It’s often served at potlucks or holiday meals.

🍊 Orange Dreamsicle Salad

Ingredients:

1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix

1 (3 oz) package orange Jell-O gelatin

1 cup boiling water

1/2 cup cold water

1 (8 oz) tub Cool Whip, thawed

1 (15 oz) can mandarin oranges, drained

1 cup mini marshmallows (optional)

1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained (optional, but adds great flavor)

—

Instructions:

1. Dissolve Jell-O: In a large bowl, dissolve the orange Jell-O in 1 cup boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved.

2. Add Cold Water: Stir in 1/2 cup cold water. Chill in the fridge for about 20-30 minutes, or until slightly thickened (not fully set).

3. Whisk in Pudding: Add the instant vanilla pudding mix to the Jell-O and whisk until smooth. Return to the fridge for another 15-20 minutes to thicken further.

4. Fold in Cool Whip: Gently fold in the Cool Whip until fully combined.

5. Add Fruit & Marshmallows: Fold in drained mandarin oranges, mini marshmallows, and pineapple (if using).

6. Chill Before Serving: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably 2–3 hours, before serving to let it set.

Tips:

You can add chopped pecans or shredded coconut for extra texture.

This salad keeps well in the fridge for 2–3 days.

Great served in a trifle dish or individual dessert cups!
