Posted on July 11, 2025

Here’s a classic Orange Creamsicle Salad recipe for you! It’s a sweet, creamy, and refreshing dish that’s perfect for potlucks, BBQs, or just a fun dessert salad.

Orange Creamsicle Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 (3.4 oz) box orange-flavored Jell-O (or gelatin dessert)

  • 1 cup boiling water

  • 1 (15 oz) can mandarin oranges, drained

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained

  • 1 cup shredded coconut (optional)

  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional, like walnuts or pecans)

  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed

  • 1 (8 oz) cream cheese, softened (optional for extra creaminess)

Instructions:

  1. Dissolve Jell-O: In a large bowl, dissolve the orange Jell-O in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir well until fully dissolved.

  2. Add Cold Ingredients: Add the drained mandarin oranges, crushed pineapple, mini marshmallows, coconut, and nuts (if using) into the warm Jell-O mixture.

  3. Chill Slightly: Let the mixture cool in the fridge for about 30 minutes until it starts to thicken but is not fully set.

  4. Add Creamy Elements: Fold in the whipped topping. If using cream cheese, beat it separately until smooth and then fold it in with the whipped topping.

  5. Set in Refrigerator: Pour into a serving dish or bowl and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, until firm.

  6. Serve cold and enjoy your creamy, fruity Orange Creamsicle Salad!
