Here’s a simple and delicious Mini Cannoli Cups recipe for you! These are like bite-sized versions of traditional cannoli, easy to make and perfect for parties or snacks.


Mini Cannoli Cups Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 12 mini phyllo pastry cups (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese (whole milk ricotta works best)

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (plus extra for dusting)

  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

  • Zest of 1 small orange or lemon (optional)

  • Chopped pistachios or candied cherries for garnish (optional)


Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Filling:
    In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon (if using). Mix until smooth and creamy.

  2. Add Chocolate Chips:
    Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips and citrus zest if you like a fresh hint.

  3. Fill the Cups:
    Using a small spoon or piping bag, fill each mini phyllo cup with the ricotta mixture.

  4. Garnish:
    Top with chopped pistachios or a small piece of candied cherry for a colorful finish.

  5. Chill:
    Refrigerate the filled cups for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the filling set.

  6. Serve:
    Dust with powdered sugar just before serving.
