Here’s a detailed recipe for a Lemon, Garlic, and Honey Elixir that’s known for its powerful health benefits. This natural syrup is often used to support the immune system, fight colds, reduce inflammation, improve digestion, and more—helping with 20+ common health problems.


Lemon, Garlic, and Honey Elixir Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 6 large fresh garlic cloves (peeled and minced or finely chopped)

  • 3 large organic lemons (washed and sliced thinly, seeds removed)

  • 1 cup raw honey (preferably organic, unpasteurized)

Equipment:

  • A clean glass jar with a tight-fitting lid (at least 16 oz capacity)

  • A spoon or small whisk for mixing

  • A fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth (optional, for straining)


Instructions:

  1. Prepare the garlic:

    • Peel and mince the garlic cloves as finely as possible. Crushing the garlic slightly will also help release its beneficial compounds.

  2. Slice the lemons:

    • Wash the lemons thoroughly.

    • Slice them thinly, removing any seeds to avoid bitterness.

  3. Layer the ingredients:

    • In your clean glass jar, layer some lemon slices, then add some minced garlic on top.

    • Pour a little honey over the garlic.

    • Repeat this layering until all garlic and lemon slices are used up.

  4. Combine and mix:

    • After layering, use a spoon or small whisk to gently stir everything together so the garlic and lemon are well coated with honey.

    • If the honey is too thick, you can slightly warm it (do not boil) to make it easier to mix.

  5. Seal and store:

    • Close the jar tightly with the lid.

    • Let the mixture sit at room temperature for about 2-3 days. This allows the lemon and garlic to infuse into the honey.

    • Shake or stir the jar gently once or twice a day.

  6. Optional straining:

    • After 2-3 days, you can strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to separate the solids from the liquid syrup.

    • Store the strained syrup in a clean glass jar in the refrigerator.

    • Or keep it as is and just use a spoon to take the syrup, leaving the solids in the jar.


How to Use:

  • Take 1 tablespoon of the elixir daily for general health maintenance.

  • For colds or flu symptoms, take 1 tablespoon 2-3 times a day.

  • Can be taken straight or diluted in warm water or tea.
