Here’s a simple and delicious Lazy Man’s Peach Cobbler recipe—perfect for when you want a warm dessert without a lot of work:
Lazy Man’s Peach Cobbler (a.k.a. Easy Peach Cobbler)
Ingredients:
-
1 cup all-purpose flour
-
1 cup granulated sugar
-
1 cup milk
-
1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, melted
-
1 tablespoon baking powder
-
1 pinch of salt
-
1 can (15 to 29 oz) sliced peaches in syrup (don’t drain)
Optional Toppings:
-
Ground cinnamon
-
Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving
Instructions:
-
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
-
Melt butter and pour it into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
-
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk. Stir until smooth. (Don’t overmix.)
-
Pour batter evenly over the melted butter in the baking dish. Do not stir.
-
Spoon peaches with syrup over the batter. Again, do not stir—the batter will rise around the peaches as it bakes.
-
Optional: Sprinkle a bit of ground cinnamon on top.
-
Bake for 40–50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and cooked through.
-
Let cool slightly. Serve warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.
