📝 Ingredients

For the Honey Pepper Chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut in half lengthwise)

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for pan frying)

  • 2 tbsp butter

Honey Pepper Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar

  • 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper (adjust to spice preference)

  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional, for extra heat)

  • 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for slurry, optional for thickening)

For the Creamy Garlic Butter Pasta:

  • 8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

  • Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (for garnish)


🍳 Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

  1. Flatten chicken breasts to even thickness.

  2. Season flour with salt, pepper, and paprika. Dredge chicken in flour.

  3. Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Step 2: Make the Honey Pepper Sauce

  1. In the same pan, whisk together honey, soy sauce, vinegar, black pepper, and chili flakes. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

  2. Add cornstarch slurry if thicker consistency is desired. Cook until slightly thickened.

  3. Return chicken to the pan and coat in sauce. Simmer for 1–2 minutes. Remove from heat.

Step 3: Make the Creamy Garlic Butter Pasta

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water and drain.

  2. In a large pan, melt 3 tbsp butter. Sauté garlic until fragrant (1–2 minutes).

  3. Add heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt & pepper. Stir until smooth.

  4. Toss in cooked pasta. Add reserved pasta water as needed for desired creaminess.
