🧄 Garlic Butter Crusted Chicken Recipe

⭐ Ingredients:

For the Chicken:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)

For the Garlic Butter:

  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced (or 1½ tsp garlic paste)

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (to help crisp the crust)

🔪 Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  2. Prepare the Garlic Butter:

    • In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, olive oil, parsley, and Italian seasoning.

  3. Mix the Crust:

    • In a shallow bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  4. Prep the Chicken:

    • Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Lightly season with salt and pepper.

  5. Coat the Chicken:

    • Dip each chicken breast into the garlic butter mixture, then press into the breadcrumb mixture to coat evenly on all sides.

  6. Bake:

    • Place the coated chicken onto the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle any leftover garlic butter over the top.

    • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the crust is golden brown.

  7. Broil for Extra Crunch (Optional):

    • Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end if you want a crispier crust. Watch closely to avoid burning!

  8. Garnish and Serve:

    • Garnish with extra chopped parsley and serve with mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, or over pasta.

🍽️ Tips:

  • Add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving for brightness.

  • Use chicken thighs for juicier meat.

  • For extra richness, stuff the chicken with a slice of mozzarella or cream cheese before coating.
