Garlic Parmesan Baked Shrimp

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (fresh)

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • ½ tsp paprika (optional, for color)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

  • Lemon wedges (for serving)


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

  2. Prepare the garlic butter mixture:

    • In a bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Arrange the shrimp:

    • Lay the shrimp in a single layer in the baking dish.

    • Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the shrimp.

    • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs over the top.

  4. Bake:

    • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, and the topping is golden brown.

    • If desired, broil for an additional 1–2 minutes for extra crispiness.

  5. Serve:

    • Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.

    • Serve hot as an appetizer, over pasta, or with crusty bread.
