Ingredients:
-
4 salmon fillets (around 6 oz each)
-
3 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (or 1 tsp lemon zest)
-
1 tsp dried thyme (or fresh thyme, chopped)
-
1 tsp dried parsley (or fresh parsley, chopped)
-
1/2 tsp dried rosemary (optional)
-
Salt and pepper to taste
-
Lemon wedges (for garnish)
-
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
-
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This high heat will help sear the salmon and bring out its flavor. -
Prepare the Garlic Herb Mixture:
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil (or melted butter), minced garlic, lemon juice, thyme, parsley, rosemary (if using), salt, and pepper. Stir everything together. -
Prepare the Salmon:
Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup. Pat them dry with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture. -
Coat the Salmon:
Brush the garlic herb mixture generously over each salmon fillet, making sure to coat the tops well. -
Bake the Salmon:
Place the salmon in the preheated oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. The cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets. -
Garnish and Serve:
Remove the salmon from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges. Serve with your favorite side dish like roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad
