Garlic and Lemon Detox Drink

Here’s a simple and effective Garlic and Lemon Detox Drink recipe that can help boost immunity, support digestion, and aid detoxification:


🧄🍋 Garlic and Lemon Detox Drink

Ingredients:

  • 2 cloves of fresh garlic, peeled and minced or crushed

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 1 cup (250 ml) of warm water

  • (Optional) 1 tsp of raw honey for taste

  • (Optional) A pinch of cayenne pepper for an extra metabolism boost


Instructions:

  1. Crush the garlic:
    Mince or crush the garlic and let it sit for 5–10 minutes to activate the allicin (the beneficial compound in garlic).

  2. Prepare the lemon juice:
    Squeeze the juice from one fresh lemon into a cup.

  3. Combine ingredients:
    Add the crushed garlic to the lemon juice and pour in warm (not hot) water.

  4. Optional additions:
    Stir in honey and cayenne pepper if desired.

  5. Let it steep (optional):
    Let the drink sit for another 5 minutes to blend the flavors, then stir well.

  6. Drink on an empty stomach:
    For best results, drink it first thing in the morning.
