Here’s a simple and beautiful Fruit Platter Recipe perfect for parties, brunches, or a healthy dessert.


🍇 Fresh Fruit Platter Recipe

🧺 Ingredients (Pick and Mix)

Choose a variety of colors, textures, and flavors:

Fruits (fresh and ripe):

  • Berries: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries

  • Melons: watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew (cut into cubes or use a melon baller)

  • Citrus: orange slices, mandarin segments, grapefruit

  • Tropical: pineapple (sliced or spears), mango (sliced), kiwi (sliced or halved), papaya

  • Stone fruits: peaches, plums, nectarines (sliced)

  • Grapes: red or green, whole or halved

  • Apples and pears: sliced and soaked in lemon water to prevent browning

  • Bananas: optional—slice just before serving to avoid browning

Optional Garnishes:

  • Fresh mint leaves

  • Edible flowers (like pansies or nasturtiums)

  • Lemon or lime wedges

🧂 Optional Dips (serve on the side):

  • Honey yogurt dip: mix Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla

  • Chocolate sauce

  • Coconut whipped cream

  • Peanut butter or almond butter


🍴 Instructions

  1. Wash & Prep: Wash all fruits thoroughly. Peel and cut as needed. Soak apples/pears in lemon water for 5 minutes.

  2. Choose a Platter: Use a large board, tray, or plate.

  3. Arrange Artfully:

    • Start with larger fruit pieces or piles (like melon chunks or pineapple spears).

    • Add smaller fruits (berries, grapes) in between.

    • Mix colors and shapes for visual interest.

    • Tuck in mint leaves or edible flowers for freshness.

  4. Serve Immediately or cover with plastic wrap and chill until serving (within a few hours).

  • Keep bananas or apples off if making far in advance.

  • Add toothpicks or mini skewers for easy picking.

  • For a holiday twist, use cookie cutters to shape melons or pineapples.
