Easy Cool Whip Candy

Here’s a super easy Cool Whip Candy recipe using just a few ingredients. This treat is light, fluffy, and perfect for holidays or anytime you want a quick sweet fix.


🍬 Easy Cool Whip Candy (a.k.a. Cool Whip Fudge)

Ingredients:

  • 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed

  • 1 bag (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips (or milk chocolate, if preferred)

  • 1 box (16 oz) powdered sugar

  • Optional: 1 tsp vanilla extract, nuts, or sprinkles


Instructions:

  1. Melt the chocolate chips
    In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.

  2. Fold in Cool Whip
    Add the Cool Whip to the melted chocolate and mix until fully combined. It will look fluffy and mousse-like.

  3. Add powdered sugar
    Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until a thick dough-like consistency forms. You can use a hand mixer or stir by hand with a sturdy spoon.

  4. Press into pan
    Line an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch pan with parchment or wax paper. Press the mixture evenly into the pan.

  5. Chill
    Refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours, or until firm.

  6. Cut and serve
    Remove from the fridge, lift the candy out using the paper, and cut into squares. Store in the fridge.


Optional Variations:

  • Peanut Butter Version: Add 1/2 cup peanut butter to the melted chocolate.

  • Mint Chocolate: Use mint extract and white chocolate chips.

  • Holiday Version: Top with crushed peppermint or festive sprinkles.
