Here’s a Dill Pickle Gummy Worms recipe that combines tangy dill flavor with the chewy texture of gummy candy—perfect for adventurous snackers or a fun novelty treat!

🥒 Dill Pickle Gummy Worms Recipe

🧪 Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup dill pickle juice (from a jar of pickles)

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for added tartness)

  • 3 tablespoons unflavored gelatin (about 3 packets)

  • 1 tablespoon sugar or honey (optional, balances acidity)

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • Green food coloring (optional, for wormy look)

  • Gummy worm molds (or use a silicone ice cube tray if you don’t have them)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Prepare Mold:

    • Lightly spray gummy worm molds with cooking spray and set aside.

  2. Make the Gelatin Base:

    • In a saucepan, combine pickle juice, water, and lemon juice (if using).

    • Sprinkle gelatin evenly over the liquid and let it bloom for 5 minutes (gelatin will absorb the liquid and swell).

  3. Heat & Dissolve:

    • Place the saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until gelatin is fully dissolved (do not boil).

    • Stir in sugar or honey, salt, and green food coloring if desired.

  4. Mold the Gummies:

    • Pour the liquid into gummy worm molds using a dropper or spoon.

    • Place in the refrigerator and chill for 2 hours, or until fully set.

  5. Unmold & Store:

    • Carefully remove the gummy worms from the molds.

    • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.

🧂 Optional Add-Ins:

  • Chili powder or Tajín for spicy pickle gummy worms.

  • Dill weed flakes for visual texture and extra pickle vibe.
