Here’s a delicious recipe for Deep-Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Stuffed Wonton Bites—perfectly crispy on the outside with a creamy, fruity filling inside!


🍓 Deep-Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Stuffed Wonton Bites

📝 Ingredients:

For the filling:

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup fresh strawberries, finely diced (or strawberry jam/preserves for easier handling)

  • Optional: 1–2 tsp lemon juice for brightness

For the wontons:

  • 24 wonton wrappers

  • 1 egg (beaten, for sealing)

For frying:

  • Vegetable oil (for deep frying)

Optional toppings:

  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

  • Melted chocolate or strawberry sauce (for drizzling)

  • Whipped cream (for serving)


👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Make the cheesecake filling:

    • In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

    • Gently fold in the finely diced strawberries (or swirl in a bit of jam).

    • Chill the mixture for 15–20 minutes to firm it up for easier stuffing.

  2. Assemble the wonton bites:

    • Place a wonton wrapper on a clean, dry surface.

    • Spoon about 1 tsp of cheesecake filling into the center.

    • Moisten the edges with beaten egg.

    • Fold into a triangle or bring all four corners together to form a little pouch and pinch to seal well.

    • Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

  3. Fry the wontons:

    • Heat 2–3 inches of oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).

    • Fry 4–5 wontons at a time, about 1–2 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.

    • Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

  4. Serve:

    • Dust with powdered sugar.

    • Drizzle with melted chocolate or strawberry sauce if desired.

    • Serve warm, optionally with a side of whipped cream.
