  • 1 (25 oz) bag frozen ravioli (cheese or beef)

  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage (optional, for a meat version)

  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara or pasta sauce

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Optional: 1 cup ricotta or cottage cheese

  • Optional garnish: fresh basil or parsley


🍳 Instructions:

  1. Brown the meat (optional):
    In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.

  2. Layer in the crockpot:

    • Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.

    • Add a single layer of frozen ravioli.

    • Spoon some of the meat (if using) over the ravioli.

    • Add a few dollops of ricotta/cottage cheese (optional).

    • Sprinkle with mozzarella, Parmesan, and a pinch of Italian seasoning.

    • Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with sauce and cheese on top.

  3. Cook:

    • Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours, until ravioli is tender and cheese is melted and bubbly.

  4. Serve:
    Let it sit for 10 minutes before serving. Top with fresh parsley or basil if desired.
