Here’s a simple and delicious Crispy Roasted Cauliflower recipe that’s full of flavor and easy to make:

Ingredients:

  • 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (or regular paprika)

  • ½ teaspoon turmeric (optional, for color and subtle flavor)

  • ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional for extra crispiness and flavor)

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (for extra crispiness)


Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easier cleanup.

  2. Prepare Cauliflower:
    Wash and dry the cauliflower. Cut into uniform, bite-sized florets.

  3. Season:
    In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, turmeric, salt, pepper, and cornstarch. Toss the cauliflower florets in the mixture until well-coated. If using Parmesan, add it now and toss again.

  4. Spread on Baking Sheet:
    Spread the seasoned cauliflower in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure there’s a little space between florets so they roast instead of steam.

  5. Roast:
    Roast in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, flipping once halfway through. Roast until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy on the edges.

  6. Optional Finish:
    For extra crispiness, broil on high for 2–3 minutes at the end — just keep an eye on it to avoid burning.

  7. Serve:
    Serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh parsley, a squeeze of lemon juice, or a drizzle of tahini sauce.
