Here’s a Crispy Parmesan Garlic Chicken Burritos recipe that combines tender chicken, a rich garlic-Parmesan flavor, and a golden, crispy tortilla wrap. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or meal prep!

🧄 Crispy Parmesan Garlic Chicken Burritos

🍗 Ingredients

For the Chicken Filling:

  • 2 large chicken breasts, cooked and shredded (or use rotisserie chicken)

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 cup sour cream or cream cheese (for creaminess)

For Assembly:

  • 4–6 large flour tortillas

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan (for the outside)

  • 2 tbsp butter (for pan crisping)

  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

🔪 Instructions

  1. Make the Parmesan Garlic Chicken:

    • In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat.

    • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).

    • Add shredded chicken, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning. Stir to coat.

    • Mix in sour cream (or cream cheese) and 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese. Stir until everything is creamy and well combined. Remove from heat.

  2. Assemble the Burritos:

    • Lay out tortillas. In each one, add a portion of the chicken filling.

    • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top.

    • Fold in the sides and roll tightly into a burrito.

  3. Crisp the Burritos:

    • In a clean skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium heat.

    • Sprinkle a bit of Parmesan onto the skillet where you’ll place the burrito seam-side down (creates a cheesy crust).

    • Place burritos in the pan, seam-side down. Cook until golden brown and crispy, about 2–3 minutes per side.

    • Optional: repeat with more butter and Parmesan for the second batch.

  4. Serve:

    • Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.

    • Serve with a side of marinara, ranch, or garlic aioli for dipping.

🔄 Variations

  • Add Veggies: Sautéed spinach, caramelized onions, or roasted red peppers.

  • Make it Spicy: Add hot sauce or chopped jalapeños to the filling.

  • Low-Carb Option: Use low-carb tortillas or wrap in lettuce.
