Here’s a simple and delicious Crispy Baked Chicken Wings recipe for you!


Crispy Baked Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds chicken wings (flats and drumettes)

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder (aluminum-free)

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (for heat)


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. This helps air circulate around the wings for crispiness.

  2. Prepare the wings:
    Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Removing moisture is key to getting them crispy.

  3. Coat wings:
    In a large bowl, mix the baking powder, salt, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and cayenne if using. Add the wings and toss well until evenly coated.

  4. Arrange wings:
    Place the wings on the wire rack in a single layer. Make sure they aren’t touching for maximum crispiness.

  5. Bake:
    Bake for about 40-45 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through. Bake until wings are golden brown and crispy.

  6. Serve:
    Toss wings in your favorite sauce (Buffalo, BBQ, honey garlic, etc.) or enjoy them plain with a dipping sauce.
