  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef (80/20 preferred for flavor)

  • 2 cups dry bowtie pasta (farfalle)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (if beef is very lean)

  • 1 small yellow onion, finely diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 ½ cups frozen or canned sweet corn (drained if canned)

  • 2 ½ cups beef broth (or water + bouillon)

  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter version)

  • 1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch seasoning mix (or see homemade version below)

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a cheddar-mozzarella blend)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley or green onions for garnish


🍃 Optional Homemade Ranch Seasoning (to replace packet):

  • 1 tsp dried dill

  • 1 tsp dried parsley

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
