Creamy Mushroom Chicken

Here’s a delicious and easy Creamy Mushroom Chicken recipe you can make in about 30–40 minutes:


🍽️ Creamy Mushroom Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (or butter)

  • 8 oz (225 g) mushrooms, sliced (white or cremini)

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream

  • ½ cup (120 ml) chicken broth

  • ½ cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)


🥘 Instructions:

  1. Season and Sear Chicken:

    • Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

    • Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  2. Cook Mushrooms:

    • In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed.

    • Add mushrooms and cook until golden and softened (about 5–7 minutes).

    • Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.

  3. Make Cream Sauce:

    • Lower heat to medium. Pour in chicken broth and stir, scraping up browned bits.

    • Add cream, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Stir until smooth.

    • Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  4. Combine and Serve:

    • Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over top, and simmer another 3–5 minutes.

    • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.


🍽️ Serving Ideas:

  • Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, pasta, or with steamed veggies.

  • Add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor and texture.
