CRANBERRY/TURKEY STUFFING BALLS

Posted on June 30, 2025

Here’s a tasty and easy recipe for Cranberry Turkey Stuffing Balls — perfect as a holiday appetizer or side!

Cranberry Turkey Stuffing Balls

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups prepared turkey stuffing (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 ½ cups cooked turkey, shredded or finely chopped

  • ½ cup dried cranberries (or fresh chopped cranberries)

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional but delicious)

  • 2 large eggs, beaten

  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)

  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion (optional)

  • 1 tsp poultry seasoning or sage

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Olive oil or melted butter (for brushing or frying)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the turkey stuffing, cooked turkey, cranberries, shredded cheese, eggs, parsley, onion, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly incorporated.

  3. Using your hands or a small ice cream scoop, form mixture into balls about 1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.

  4. Lightly brush or spray the balls with olive oil or melted butter to help them brown and crisp up.

  5. Bake for about 20–25 minutes, turning once halfway through, until golden brown and heated through.

  6. Serve warm with a side of cranberry sauce, gravy, or your favorite dipping sauce.

Tips:

  • For extra crispy balls, after baking, you can pan-fry them in a little butter or oil for 2-3 minutes per side.

  • Swap cheddar for mozzarella or leave cheese out if preferred.

  • Add chopped nuts (like pecans) for extra texture.
