Crack Chicken Tenders are a rich, flavorful, and addictively cheesy dish made with chicken tenders coated in a creamy, cheesy, ranch-seasoned mixture. Here’s a classic and easy recipe to make them:


🧄 Crack Chicken Tenders Recipe

📝 Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs chicken tenders (boneless, skinless)

  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (or 2 tablespoons homemade)

  • 1/2 cup sour cream (optional for extra creaminess)

  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional garnish)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

🍗 Optional for Breaded Version:

  • 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers or Panko breadcrumbs

  • 2 tbsp melted butter


👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

  2. Season chicken lightly with salt and pepper and lay the tenders flat in the baking dish.

  3. Make the “crack” topping:

    • In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, bacon, ranch seasoning, and sour cream (if using) until well combined.

  4. Spread the mixture evenly over the chicken tenders.

  5. (Optional) For a crispy topping:

    • Mix crushed crackers or Panko with melted butter, then sprinkle over the cheese layer.

  6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 74°C) and the top is bubbly and slightly golden.

  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

  • Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or with roasted veggies.

  • Great as a sandwich filling or in a wrap.
