CRACK CHICKEN LASAGNA

Here’s a Crack Chicken Lasagna recipe — a rich, cheesy, and indulgent twist on classic lasagna using the addictively good flavors of “crack chicken” (ranch + bacon + cheese + chicken).


⭐ Crack Chicken Lasagna Recipe

🧂 Ingredients:

For the Chicken Mixture:

  • 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie works great)

  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning (or 2 tbsp homemade)

  • 1 cup cooked, crumbled bacon

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth (to loosen mixture if needed)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

For the Cheese Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 2 tablespoons flour

  • 2 cups milk

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Other:

  • 9-12 lasagna noodles (boiled or oven-ready)

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (for layering)

  • Fresh parsley or chives (optional, for garnish)


🥘 Instructions:

  1. Make the Cheese Sauce:

    • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour to form a roux.

    • Slowly whisk in milk and cook until thickened.

    • Stir in cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan cheeses. Mix until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

  2. Make the Chicken Filling:

    • In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, ranch seasoning, sour cream, and bacon.

    • Add a splash of chicken broth if the mixture is too thick. Stir until well combined.

  3. Assemble the Lasagna:

    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

    • In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of cheese sauce on the bottom.

    • Layer with:

      • Lasagna noodles

      • Chicken mixture

      • Cheese sauce

      • A sprinkle of mozzarella cheese

    • Repeat layers (noodles → chicken → sauce → cheese) until all ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top.

  4. Bake:

    • Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

    • Uncover and bake an additional 10-15 minutes, until bubbly and golden.

  5. Rest and Serve:

    • Let rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing.

    • Garnish with chopped parsley or chives if desired.


🔥 Tips:

  • Add spinach or sautéed mushrooms between layers for some veggies.

  • Use pre-cooked bacon bits for ease.

  • This freezes well — assemble, freeze before baking, then bake from frozen (adding 15–20 mins).
