Cookie Monster Cheesecake

Here’s a delicious Cookie Monster Cheesecake recipe for you! It’s creamy, fun, and packed with cookie goodness—perfect for cookie lovers.


Cookie Monster Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients:

For the crust:

  • 2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs (about 20 Oreos, crushed)

  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

For the cheesecake filling:

  • 24 oz (3 packages) cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • Blue food coloring (gel works best)

  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies (for folding in)

For topping (optional):

  • Whole Oreo cookies

  • Blue frosting or whipped cream


Instructions:

  1. Prepare the crust:

    • Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).

    • Mix the Oreo crumbs and melted butter until combined.

    • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.

    • Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes, then remove and let cool while you make the filling.

  2. Make the cheesecake filling:

    • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.

    • Add sugar and vanilla extract, beat until creamy.

    • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.

    • Mix in sour cream.

    • Add blue food coloring a little at a time until you get a bright “Cookie Monster” blue.

    • Gently fold in the crushed Oreo pieces.

  3. Bake:

    • Pour the filling over the cooled crust in the springform pan.

    • Bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center still slightly jiggles.

    • Turn off oven, crack oven door, and let cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour to prevent cracking.

  4. Chill:

    • Remove cheesecake from oven and cool to room temperature.

    • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.

  5. Decorate and serve:

    • Before serving, decorate the top with whole Oreos or cookie crumbles.

    • Add some blue frosting or whipped cream for extra Cookie Monster vibes!
