  • 2 ripe but firm bananas (not overly soft)

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (or olive oil)

  • 1Β½ tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1Β½ tbsp granulated sugar (or coconut sugar for a healthier option)

  • Optional: pinch of salt


🍳 Instructions:

  1. Slice the Bananas:

    • Peel the bananas and slice them into β…› to ΒΌ inch thick rounds. Thinner slices = crispier chips.

  2. Coat:

    • In a bowl, gently toss banana slices with coconut oil until evenly coated.

  3. Mix Topping:

    • In a small bowl, combine cinnamon and sugar (and a pinch of salt if using).

  4. Dust the Bananas:

    • Sprinkle half the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the banana slices. Reserve the rest for later.

  5. Arrange in Air Fryer:

    • Place banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket (do not overcrowd). Use parchment paper with holes if needed.

  6. Air Fry:

    • Air fry at 330Β°F (165Β°C) for 15–20 minutes, flipping or shaking halfway through. Keep a close eye in the last 5 minutes to avoid burning.

  7. Cool & Sweeten:

    • Remove chips and let them cool (they crisp up more as they cool).

    • Sprinkle with remaining cinnamon-sugar before serving.

  • Storage: Keep in an airtight container at room temp for 2–3 days.

  • Too soft? Return to the air fryer for 2–3 more minutes.

  • You can also add a dash of vanilla extract to the oil for extra flavor.
