🍴 Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites Recipe

⭐ Ingredients:

For the French Toast Bites:

  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/4 cup milk (any kind)

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp butter (for the pan)

Optional toppings:

  • Maple syrup

  • Powdered sugar

  • Extra icing (from the cinnamon roll can)

  • Fresh berries


🔥 Instructions:

  1. Prep the Cinnamon Rolls:

    • Open the can and separate the cinnamon rolls.

    • Cut each roll into 4–6 bite-sized pieces.

  2. Make the French Toast Batter:

    • In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.

  3. Coat the Bites:

    • Dip the cinnamon roll pieces into the egg mixture, making sure they’re fully coated.

  4. Cook:

    • Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt the butter.

    • Add the dipped cinnamon roll bites in a single layer.

    • Cook for about 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

  5. Serve:

    • Drizzle with the icing (warm it slightly for easy pouring).

    • Add syrup, powdered sugar, or your favorite toppings.


💡 Tips:

  • For crispier bites, let them cook an extra minute or so.

  • Want a deeper flavor? Add a splash of maple extract or nutmeg to the egg mixture.

  • You can bake instead: 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes on a greased sheet pan.
