Cheesy Zucchini Steaks Recipe
Ingredients:

2 medium zucchinis

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or your favorite cheese blend)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (or a mix of dried basil, oregano, thyme)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley or basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the zucchini: Wash the zucchinis and cut them into 1/2-inch thick slices, lengthwise or crosswise, whichever you prefer.

Season: Lay the zucchini slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased. Brush both sides with olive oil, then sprinkle salt, pepper, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning evenly over the slices.

Add cheese: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly on each zucchini slice, then top with a little grated Parmesan.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the zucchini is tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Broil (optional): For a golden, crispy cheese topping, turn on the broiler for 1-2 minutes at the end — but watch carefully so it doesn’t burn!
