Here’s a Cheesy Garlic Butter Linguine with Savory Beef recipe that combines rich, comforting flavors with a satisfying meaty twist:

Cheesy Garlic Butter Linguine with Savory Beef

🍝 Ingredients

For the Beef:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef or thinly sliced steak (sirloin or ribeye work well)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 tsp soy sauce (optional, for extra umami)

For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 6 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a bit of heat)

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella (optional for extra cheesiness)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

For the Pasta:

  • 12 oz (340g) linguine

  • Salt for pasta water

🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta:

    • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

    • Add linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente.

    • Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water. Set aside.

  2. Prepare the Beef:

    • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

    • Add beef, season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and soy sauce (if using).

    • Cook until browned and slightly crispy on the edges. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

    • In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium.

    • Add butter and melt.

    • Sauté minced garlic and red pepper flakes for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

    • Pour in heavy cream, stir, and simmer for 3–5 minutes.

    • Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella until melted and smooth.

    • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Combine:

    • Add cooked linguine to the sauce, tossing to coat.

    • If needed, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.

    • Stir in the cooked beef.

  5. Serve:

    • Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.

    • Serve hot with garlic bread or a side salad.

🔥 Tips:

  • For extra richness, add a splash of white wine before the cream.

  • Use freshly grated cheese for best flavor and smooth texture.

  • Swap linguine for fettuccine or spaghetti if preferred.
