Caramel Apple Dump Cake

Here’s a Caramel Apple Dump Cake recipe that’s simple, sweet, and perfect for fall—or anytime you’re craving a cozy dessert!


🍏 Caramel Apple Dump Cake

Ingredients:

  • 2 (21 oz) cans apple pie filling

  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus more for drizzling)

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (optional, but recommended)

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

  • Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream (for serving)


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  2. Layer the apple pie filling evenly in the bottom of the dish.

  3. Drizzle caramel sauce over the apples.

  4. Sprinkle cinnamon over the top (optional for extra flavor).

  5. Evenly sprinkle dry cake mix over the apple and caramel layers—do not mix.

  6. Pour melted butter evenly over the cake mix. Try to cover as much of the dry mix as possible.

  7. Add chopped nuts on top, if using.

  8. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

  9. Cool slightly, then serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. Drizzle with extra caramel sauce if desired.
