Here’s a Brownie Pecan Pie recipe that combines the fudgy richness of a brownie with the gooey, nutty goodness of pecan pie. It’s decadent, indulgent, and perfect for holidays or special occasions.


🍫 Brownie Pecan Pie Recipe

✅ Ingredients

For the Brownie Layer:

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

For the Pecan Pie Layer:

  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup (or maple syrup for a twist)

  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar

  • 3 large eggs

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves or pieces


🧑‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie pan or line with parchment.

  2. Make the Brownie Base:

    • In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.

    • Remove from heat, then stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.

    • Add cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder; mix until smooth.

    • Pour into the prepared pie pan and spread evenly.

  3. Prepare the Pecan Topping:

    • In a bowl, whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla.

    • Stir in pecans.

  4. Assemble the Pie:

    • Gently pour the pecan mixture over the brownie layer. Spread pecans evenly.

  5. Bake:

    • Bake for 45–50 minutes, until the center is mostly set (a slight jiggle is okay).

    • If edges brown too quickly, tent with foil after 30 minutes.

  6. Cool:

    • Let cool completely before slicing to allow layers to set.
