Banana Tea Recipe for Better Sleep

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana (organic preferred, with peel)

  • 1 cup (240 ml) of water

  • A pinch of cinnamon (optional)

  • A teaspoon of honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Wash the banana thoroughly to remove any dirt or pesticides from the peel.

  2. Cut off the banana ends, then slice the banana with the peel into chunks.

  3. Place the banana pieces in a small pot with the cup of water.

  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.

  5. Strain the tea into a cup.

  6. Add cinnamon and honey/maple syrup if you like for extra flavor and relaxation.

  7. Sip your warm banana tea about 30 minutes before bedtime.
