Here’s a simple and delicious Banana Oatmeal Dessert recipe you can whip up quickly!


Banana Oatmeal Dessert

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup milk (or any plant-based milk)

  • 1-2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • A pinch of salt

  • Optional toppings: nuts, chocolate chips, berries, or yogurt


Instructions:

  1. Mash the bananas: In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth but still a little chunky.

  2. Mix the wet ingredients: Add milk, honey/maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Stir well.

  3. Add dry ingredients: Add rolled oats, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Mix everything thoroughly.

  4. Cook it:

    • Stovetop: Pour the mixture into a small saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it thickens and oats are soft (about 5-7 minutes).

    • Microwave: Pour into a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 2-3 minutes, stirring halfway through.

  5. Serve: Once thickened and cooked, transfer to bowls. Add your favorite toppings like chopped nuts, chocolate chips, fresh berries, or a dollop of yogurt.
