Banana Mama creamy, fruity cocktail

Posted on May 28, 2025

Here’s a Banana Mama cocktail recipe with a creamy, fruity twist — perfect for tropical vibes, summer parties, or just a beachy treat at home. This version combines rum, tropical fruit juices, banana, and a touch of coconut cream for that smooth, creamy finish.

🍹 Banana Mama (Creamy Version) Cocktail Recipe

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana (medium-sized)

  • 1 oz light rum

  • 1 oz dark rum

  • ½ oz coconut rum (optional for extra tropical flavor)

  • 1 oz banana liqueur (optional, for stronger banana taste)

  • 1 oz pineapple juice

  • 1 oz orange juice

  • 1 oz cream of coconut (like Coco Lopez or similar)

  • ½ cup crushed ice or more, depending on texture preference

🥣 Instructions:

  1. Blend all ingredients: Add banana, both rums, juices, cream of coconut, and ice to a blender.

  2. Blend until smooth: Process until you get a creamy, thick, milkshake-like texture.

  3. Taste and adjust: Add more juice or coconut cream if you want it thinner or sweeter.

  4. Serve: Pour into a tall glass or a tiki mug.

  5. Garnish (optional):

    • Pineapple slice

    • Maraschino cherry

    • Shredded coconut or cinnamon on top

🍌 Notes & Tips:

  • You can make it non-alcoholic by skipping the rum and banana liqueur — it’ll still taste amazing!

  • Add a splash of grenadine at the bottom before pouring for a layered sunset effect.

  • For a colada twist, increase the coconut cream and rum slightly.
