Baked Salmon in Foil with Asparagus and Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce

Here’s a delicious, easy Baked Salmon in Foil with Asparagus and Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce recipe for you:


Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

  • 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed

  • 3 tbsp butter, melted

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 lemon (zested and juiced)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley or dill (optional, for garnish)

  • Olive oil (optional)


Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Prepare Foil Packets:
    Tear off two large pieces of aluminum foil, enough to wrap each salmon fillet fully.

  3. Assemble:
    Place each salmon fillet in the center of each foil piece. Arrange asparagus spears alongside the salmon. Drizzle asparagus with a little olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.

  4. Make Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce:
    In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest.

  5. Add Sauce:
    Spoon the lemon garlic butter evenly over the salmon and asparagus.

  6. Seal Foil Packets:
    Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon and asparagus, sealing tightly to form packets.

  7. Bake:
    Place the foil packets on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for about 15-18 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  8. Serve:
    Carefully open the foil packets (watch for steam). Garnish with fresh parsley or dill if desired and serve immediately.
