Here’s a simple and delicious baked pork chops recipe:


🍽️ Baked Pork Chops

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (1 to 1.5 inches thick)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp dried thyme (optional)

  • Optional: 1 tbsp brown sugar (for a touch of sweetness)

🔪 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Prepare pork chops:

    • Pat them dry with paper towels.

    • Rub both sides with olive oil.

  3. Season:

    • Mix all spices in a small bowl.

    • Rub spice mixture evenly over both sides of each pork chop.

  4. Bake:

    • Place chops on a lightly greased baking dish or parchment-lined baking sheet.

    • Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until internal temp reaches 145°F (63°C).

  5. Optional broil:

    • For a golden top, broil on high for 2–3 minutes at the end.

  6. Rest:

    • Let pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving to retain juices.


🍽️ Serving Suggestions:

  • Mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, apple sauce, or a crisp green salad.
