🦞 Baked Lobster Tails with Garlic Butter

⭐ Servings: 2 | ⏱️ Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 lobster tails (4–6 oz each)

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

  • 1 tsp paprika (optional, for color)

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

🔪 1. Prep the Lobster Tails

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  • Using kitchen shears, cut down the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise, stopping at the base of the tail.

  • Gently pull the shell apart and lift the lobster meat out, resting it on top of the shell for a butterfly presentation. (Keep it attached at the base.)

🧄 2. Make Garlic Butter

  • In a small bowl, combine:

    • Melted butter

    • Garlic

    • Lemon juice

    • Paprika (optional)

    • Salt & pepper

🥄 3. Season Lobster

  • Place prepared lobster tails on a baking dish.

  • Brush the garlic butter generously over the lobster meat.

🔥 4. Bake

  • Bake in preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and lightly browned.

  • For a more golden top, broil for the last 1–2 minutes (optional — watch closely to avoid burning).

🌿 5. Garnish & Serve

  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley.

  • Serve hot with lemon wedges and extra garlic butter on the side.

✅ Tips

  • For even cooking, bring lobster tails to room temperature before baking.

  • Internal temperature should reach 140–145°F (60–63°C).
