🧾 Bacon Pancakes Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 6 slices of bacon

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 large egg

  • 2 tbsp melted butter (plus more for cooking)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the bacon

    • Fry the bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels. Once cool, cut or break into bite-sized pieces.

  2. Make the pancake batter

    • In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

    • In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter.

    • Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed (a few lumps are okay). Fold in the bacon pieces.

  3. Cook the pancakes

    • Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly butter it.

    • Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake.

    • Cook until bubbles form on top and edges look set (about 2–3 minutes), then flip and cook another 1–2 minutes.

  4. Serve

    • Stack ’em up and drizzle with maple syrup for the ultimate salty-sweet combo.
