Here’s a simple and tasty Air Fryer Beef Jerky recipe for you! It’s easy to make and perfect for a protein-packed snack.


Air Fryer Beef Jerky Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) lean beef (top round, flank steak, or sirloin), thinly sliced

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar or honey

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for some heat)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the beef:

    • Freeze the beef for about 30-60 minutes before slicing to make it easier to cut thin strips.

    • Slice the beef against the grain into thin strips, about 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick.

  2. Marinate:

    • In a bowl, combine soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar (or honey), smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

    • Add the beef strips and mix well to coat evenly.

    • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight for best flavor.

  3. Air fry the jerky:

    • Preheat your air fryer to 160°F (or the lowest setting if 160°F is unavailable).

    • Place the beef strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t overlap.

    • Air fry for about 2-3 hours, flipping or rotating the strips every 30 minutes for even drying.

    • Check the jerky for doneness — it should be dry but still slightly flexible.

  4. Cool and store:

    • Let the jerky cool completely on a wire rack.

    • Store in an airtight container or zip-lock bag. It keeps well at room temperature for about a week or longer in the fridge.
