📝 Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 2 medium chicken breasts, boneless & skinless

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

  • Salt & black pepper to taste

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon (optional for extra flavor)

For the Garlic Butter:

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 4 garlic cloves, finely minced

  • 1 tsp parsley (fresh or dried)

  • Pinch of salt

For the Wraps:

  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps

  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar (or a mix)

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional)

  • 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt (optional for tanginess)

  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 tomato, sliced thinly

  • Lettuce or baby spinach (optional)

  • Jalapeños or chili flakes (optional for heat)


🍳 Instructions

1. Prepare & Cook the Chicken

  1. Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips or bite-sized pieces.

  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.

  3. Add chicken to the mixture and marinate for at least 10 minutes (longer if you have time).

  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 5–7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Set aside.

2. Make the Garlic Butter

  1. In a small pan, melt butter over low heat.

  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant (don’t brown it).

  3. Stir in parsley and a pinch of salt. Remove from heat.

3. Assemble the Wraps

  1. Warm tortillas slightly to make them flexible.

  2. Spread a little mayo and/or sour cream on each wrap (optional but adds creaminess).

  3. Add a layer of lettuce/spinach, then the cooked chicken.

  4. Drizzle garlic butter generously over the chicken.

  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.

  6. Add sliced onions, tomato, and any extras like jalapeños.

4. Toast or Grill the Wraps (Optional but Recommended)

  1. Fold the sides of the wrap in, then roll tightly.

  2. Heat a pan or sandwich press over medium heat.

  3. Place the wrap seam-side down and toast for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cheese is melted.

  • Serve hot with garlic mayo, ranch, or spicy ketchup.

  • Pair with crispy fries, potato wedges, or a fresh salad.
