👩🍳 Instructions
Step 1: Make the Brownie Dough
-
In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, both sugars, egg, and vanilla.
-
Sift in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until just combined.
-
Set aside or chill in the fridge for 20 minutes for easier handling.
Step 2: Make the Peanut Butter Dough
-
In another bowl, cream together softened butter, peanut butter, and both sugars until smooth and fluffy.
-
Beat in the egg and vanilla.
-
Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined.
Step 3: Swirl & Scoop
-
Take about 1 tablespoon of each dough and gently swirl them together with your hands—don’t overmix or it will blend too much.
-
Roll into a ball and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Repeat for the rest of the dough.
Step 4: Bake
-
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
-
Slightly flatten each cookie dough ball.
-
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are set and centers look slightly underbaked.
-
Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
🍫 Optional Add-Ins
-
Sprinkle with sea salt after baking.
-
Add chocolate chips to the brownie dough or peanut butter chips to the PB dough.
-
Drizzle with melted chocolate after cooling.
